I am so frustrated..I called Post.nl back and now they say that our package hasnt left USA customs and they do not know why.I have to wait to receive a form from Post.nl to start investigation. ranting33va.gif

I dont know whether to stop payment on the check for the I 130 or wait longer ...it was mailed on the 13th of February already.

We sent the package on Feb 13 2014 ...it left the Netherlands to Chicago Lockbox because we are filing from abroad. There has been no sign of it since it left here .Post.nl (Dutch post) states that it has not left US Customs to be delivered to the Post Office in the States as of yet.I know that sometimes things get delayed and there has been a lot bad weather but it is worrisome. There is a lot of sensitive info in the packet and of course the check payment.Supposedly the packet left the Netherlands by air and there is no arrival scan into the States. We really didnt need this worry on top of some other things.I guess no one does and am happy for others who arent having issues with the customs at the airport. There is nothing wrong with the package,it has proper postage as we had it weighed and track and traced with signature, return adress etc.It is just frustrating not knowing where the packet is.

Do you have online banking enabled? See if you can find a scanned copy of the check online. Make sure it has the USCIS endorsement in the signature area. Best to be safe.

You read the link? That's 40,000 hits for Dutch postmen throwing mail away. cray5ol.gif

Uncle Beer...yes I read the link and we have been hearing and reading about this kind of behavior for a while now...disgusting . It used to be that we had the same mail person for a long time and now it is a different person every few days . We have watched the mail persons deliver mail to our neighbors and then watch the neighbors going over to other neighbors and re-deliver it to the right person. We have also had to do the same and I had a package of my meds from the USA take 3 months to get to me .The post in our neighborhood meets at a residence to sort the mail then delivers just like it is a post office lol.You can see the mail people gathering on their bikes with thier mail bags at this house daily. Its crazy! This is because of cut backs in funds and layoffs.
