We sent in our application to the Chicago lockbox with UPS 1-Day delivery on the 24th. It got there the 25th, signed by J CHYBA. We received our e-verification today (Feb 28), and our check was cashed right away.

So I guess we're waiting for the NOA 1 hard copy, and then the loooooong wait. Our packet was sent to Vermont. Here's hoping for the best!

mine also went to vermont lets see how fast these ppl move.

If you don't mind me asking I sent my I-130 to AZ because of the USCIS website info and were both in California? I see yours was sent to the Chicago lock box did you send directly to AZ or did you send it directly another filing facility? or how did you find out what Service Center yours was sent to after the lock box?

Hello Everyone!

Here's our timeline:

18 Feb 2014 - Gathered all requirements for I-130 packet.

20 Feb 2014 - Sent I-130 packet to USCIS Phoenix Lockbox facility.

26 Feb 2014 - Received I-797C (NOA1) by mail; Initial Review

03 Mar 2014 - Sent I-129F packet to USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility.

My husband (USC) sent an I-129F in the hopes of applying for K-3 visa; however, upon reading through threads here in VJ, it looks like we're leaning towards the CR-1 visa route instead. We assume that we have 4–6 months to decide on which route to take when it comes to visa application, and hopefully, we come up with the best plan possible.

Thanks,

Jae
