Im an American citizen who has been living In Canada for many years my income now is from Canadian pension plan (CPP) so all my tax returns are from Canada. But have recently moved to USA to reside with my mother. Im married to an Egyptian man and we r apply for the I-130 form. I wonder if I can sponsor my husband with my income being from Canada ?

As long it it is ongoing and you have US domicile I think you can. I mistakenly told someone in another thread it had to be US based, but I reread the instructions and I think I was wrong. But please read them yourself and let us know your interpretation.

I can't answer the income question for sure, but since the income is not location specific if would think it OK.

You mentioned "so all my tax returns are from Canada." If case you are not already aware, as a US citizen all worldwide income must be reported regardless of where you are living. You can file a Foreign Earned Income exemption if you are living outside the US which will exempt about $90K/year.

When you file the I-864 you will need to submit your recent US tax returns. If you haven't filed in a while, you should consult a tax professional about getting caught up.

The I-864 instructions are on the USCIS website where you download the I-864. Read them throughoughly.
