Hello. I have a question about fingerprint notice.

I wonder when does USCIS send it out? Is it right after they send out the noa?

Do you get an update like "we mailed you a fingerprint notice on xxx date" thing?

Usually they send the biometrics letter around 7 days after NOA.

If you signed for email notification, you'll gonna received the notice on the day USCIS sent the biometrics letter to you.

Window for N-400 opened on 12-24-2013.

I sent N-400 on 12-26-2013.n (Express Mail to Lewisville TX)

After some delay, USPS delivered application on 12-30-2013.

E-mail notification on 01-03-2014

NOA received on 01-10-2014.

I did my biometrics on 01-27-2014.

Now waiting for "on line interview"

It's been over a week and I did sign up the email notification thing, so it means that they haven't sent it yet because I havent received an fingerprint email right? : )

When you mean signed up you do not mean g1145 right. that is only for the noa. For the rest you need to signup in uscis website with the nbc number. Sometimes it might take time based on the load on your local asc.

Yeah, I signed up using NBC number on USCIS website. And I check my case status all the time.

It`s been around 10 days and my status still shows "sent you NoA notice"... Havent changed to "sent you biometric notice"

Use the above website and go to you local asc details and you will get a rough idea when you might get the biometrics appointment

Recently been taking your photo for your citizenship certificate, even though they still want passport photos. Make sure you comb your hair.

Our average from the time we sent in our applications has been 3-4 weeks for the biometrics notice. With a specific date and time.

In my case, it has been 22 days since my NOA date and I still have not received my Bio appointment letter. No email or SMS notifications too. Right now, my case status states that it is was forwarded to NBC. Since I live in Daytona Beach, my case may be assigned to the Orlando Field Office. I do not have an earthly idea if this makes a difference.
