I thought the K3 visa processing used to take only 3 months (at least at the beginning of 2006), but now it seems like it's taking over 6 months. Has anyone recently applied for a K3 visa for a spouse in India, and if so, can you please let me know how long the processing is taking before the NOA2 is recieved and till the actual interview date (for those that applied last year).

It also seems like the I130 is taking the same amount of time. What suddenly happened to the K3 processing? Why is taking so long all of a sudden? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

THanks.

Where are you getting your numbers? Are you getting them from the VJ timelines?

I just checked them and see times like 2 months from I-129F NOA2 to interview.

Goto immigration timeilnes http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/ Select K-3 Advanced View, Filter by India, Roll the table right and click the down arrow next to interview.

You will get far more answers by using the timelines than you will get by posting a question like this, Please do a timeline, It helps you and every one else. :time:
