AOS - Removing a Primary Joint Sponsor

Hi there,
I am a US Permanent resident petitioning for my 11years old daughter who is currently in the Philippines. My daughter is currently awaiting a schedule for the interview. Unfortunately, my primary joint sponsor wants to back out. I called the USCIS and they told me to write a letter to the US Consulate in the Philippines stating the removal of the primary sponsor so I can re-file a new joint sponsor. Can I do this letter myself? Or do I need a lawyer to write the letter for me? I don't know what to do?

Yes, you can do this letter yourself. However, I don't know how it should be written or submitted. Perhaps, you could do a google search for examples of this type of letter.
