Hi I'm planning to apply for US tourist visa and my reason is to visit my grandmother. My Uncle will sponsor and provide me all necessary documents to show that he will sponsor my visit there. I am currently emplyoed in a BPO company for 4 years now and own a small business. I have a doubt my application might be decline since I'm single and a BS Nursing grad. I heard I only have a little chance to get approved. Please give me some advise. Thank you.

The thing about tourist visas is that YOU have to show why you MUST return to your country... Proof that you have business, home, school etc... The burden of proof lies with you to prove to them that you will not stay and immigrate... Don't rely on anyone else sponsoring or whatnot... The main thing is to show them why you will not stay in the USA... Get your evidence together and good luck...

Forget the Uncle sponsorship, firstly he can not and secondly weakens your case.

What is a BPO?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Hi Boiler My Uncle will sponsor my ticket and I will stay with him. BPO - business outsource/call center. Thanks for the advised.

Better that you do not mention he will pay for the tickets, he is not sponsoring you. Sponsoring means something else.

Take evidence that you are allowed the time off, the dates showing when you will be on holiday.

Remember most such jobs in the US do not give you that much time.
