Just wanted to give an update-- my fiance had his interview on January 21st and today we checked the CEAC status and his visa has been issued! Says it was issued on the 3rd. We are so excited!!! We seemed to have had the worst luck every step of the K1 process, and so it is amazing to now have been approved so early!

Should I expect it to come pretty fast now?

Gosh, they've issued a lot lately! Congratulations to all of you who have received that wonderful word-ISSUED!

Mine was issued on February 4. I was talking on the phone with my fiance when he was putting his phone down to get something. All of a sudden, he reports, there was squealing coming through his phone! He listened to my words then immediately went to the site too. ISSUED!

My fiance told me he didn't want to get excited till he had it in his hand, but within an hour he was sending me information about flights to the US. We won't consider purchasing until we see the stamp in the passport, but it's a little exciting to know we can actually start looking at flight info.

lol.... yeah after the whole frustrating process we too were like.. ok, lets not get excited until its actually in our hands, because who knows what kind of ####### they can pull next. :P But then we ended up calling everyone we knew and we're looking up flights today. :) Hope it comes in the mail soon!

I also started getting all the stuff together for AoS and my fiance was completely shocked that this packet is even bigger than the others! (When will it end?!)

Lizzie Bee, I think she's talking about the AOS packet. I looked at it on the guides page here, and there really is a lot of paperwork!

Heather & Ramy, surely you have your visa in hand by now, so the real celebration can begin! I was awakened by a photo of my fiancé's. He got it today.
