Hello all!

I just checked my USCIS status on the website, and it got updated to a 'Post Decision Activity' today.
This means that I should be getting the NOA2 [i hope they don't have an objection] this week through mail.

What are the documents that I should prepare?

I, the petitioner, have lived in 4 countries [Japan, Pakistan, US, and UK] over the past 15 years.
Will I need to get the police certificate, or is that just for the beneficiary?

Hoping to hear from you guys soon!

Regards! :)

Congratulation or your approval! you need to wait 2weeks and after call and call every day NVC for get Case Number & ID number.

For now don't serve documents, you'll need it when you will be available to log in in the CEAC site and after complete DS-261 (Choice of agent) and will pay the fee for the Affidavit of SUpport.

Congrats stickman, CSC is definitely on a roll. You got your NOA-2 a day after mine. I think that our Petitions will now be sent to the NVC, we will receive receipt number and then we have to wait until our Priority Date is current before any further action is taken on our case. The Police certificate will only be for the beneficiary.

did u file for an expedite? ur NOA2 came too fast in just 2 months.

CSC is definitely on a roll. I got my NOA-2 in just 2 months too and I didn't file an expedite. I guess they are just working faster on cases.

According to the rule you need to show the police report of that country where you have lived for 6 months or more than that....

This is only for the beneficiary, he is a petitioner.

For spouse visa chasers, if the beneficiary (since reaching the age of 16) lived/worked in a country for 12 months or more, they need to obtain a police clearance from that country.

Petitioners are NOT required to submit a police clearance.
