Just curious, I received my NOA hard copy on January 23rd, how much time should I allow before contacting the NVC? Or how long is a normal wait time from getting the NOA2 until they will send me another notice?

Thanks

I received the approved NOA2 three (3) weeks after I received NOA1.

Based on the timelines of other people here are visajourney.com, 3 weeks is normal for I-129 F petitions.

For me, the total wait time from receiving NOA2 to receiving email from NVC is also 3 weeks.

I received the approved NOA2 from USCIS on 10/24. Then, I called NVC 2 weeks after, but the rep told me that they do not have my case on the system yet. She also told me that once my case is received by NVC, I will receive an e-mail notification with the case #.

After that I just waited. And indeed, on 11/14, I did receive an e-mail from NVC with my fiance's case #.
