If she doesn't have a passport, it means she has never left her country or travelled anywhere. Which means USA will not let her first trip abroad be to the US to see a boyfriend.

Her lack of travel history is a huge nail in the visa coffin, and should be a red flag to you, too. She met you on the internet, she has never travelled anywhere, and she wants you to send her money?

You do not yet qualify for a fiance visa to the US because you have never met her in person. USA doesn't allow mail order brides anymore. You have to have met in person.

So if you meet briefly to comply with the K1, no longer a mail order bride.

I guess not as you have seen the goods.

Technically the US does allow it, just very very unusual.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Yes, it is virtually the same, but not exactly the same. The current rules require a little bit more effort. I agree it's not a lot, but it's something.

Perhaps a new line for Overstock.com?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
