Timeline

Generally how many days need to complete a case in NVC?? Because I submit my DS-260 online on January 24. But I called to NVC and they are saying they received my documents on January 28, so I wonder how many days it is gonna take for my case?? Please help

They told me it takes 30 days. I sent them the civil docs and it was delivered on Nov 29 2013 and they entered it into the system as received on Dec 02 2013 and I got case complete 12/26/13 and received the appointment letter via e-mail on Jan 9 2014 for interview Feb 11th 2013. Hope this helps.

well then again mines was fo an IR-5 so not sure if there is a difference in case.

So I believe they gonna take a month to complete a case. Then another month to set up interview.

I sent mine 12/19/13 they recieved it 12/23/13 and case was complete on 1/16/14 got my interview date on 1/26/14 for march 20 :)

That's great.

That is quick, I hope my case also finish in short time too like your case. I called NVC today, and lady said it is gonna take 30 business days. But your case completed within a week.

No it took a little less then a month, and the letter with the interview date takes like a week to get to your house. It should go pretty quickly if you arent missing any documents.

10 days of waiting after case complete then now had interview thats a good one not that long best of luck both of you

up to 30 business days (not weekends or holidays) to complete each section (ds-260, AOS, and IV documents) Depends on your embassy how long it takes to get an interview from case complete. But there is a special thread just for that.
