Greencard error

Sorry don't know where to post this..

I received my greencard yesterday and so I noticed the expiration date is 2023 which means i got 10 years. But the thing is we are less than 2 years married so i know I will be receiving a conditional greencard of only 2 years. i called uscis and told me to return the card with evidences that its the uscis' fault and not mine, my question is what should i send as evidences? I only have my marriage certificate with me here in the US

Perhaps you should schedule an infopass appointment at your local USCIS office and talk to a real immigration officer. Most of the customer service reps on the USCIS hotlines are there on contracts and don't really know much about what they are saying. So it is best you talk to a real person regarding this.

The marriage certificate is the perfect evidence.

You need to get the card changed, it's just a misprint. Sometimes this happens and people think they "got lucky" but they really didn;t, and all kinds of problems happen when they try to ROC.

Ate apple21 i still have my greencard here because i might be needing it for work daw. But as soon as i have work i might go to local uscis office to ask about it. Did you received your greencard?

Ah ganun ba. Oo need ang GC para sa work. Mas preferred kasi nila yung parehong may SS and GC.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for my GC. Hopefully next week dumating na. Good luck sa job hunting.

Yung expiration date naman nung sa asawa ko is 2023 @Kai. Kelangan ba talagang papalitan. But anyway hindi din sinali yung second name niya at middle name. "John Francis" and 1st name niya pero "John F" lang nakalagay pero sa likod nmn nung card is complete yung name niya.

Yes you have to return it kung 10yr ang nakuha mo pero less than 2yrs married pa lang kayo upon POE.

Ako kasi less than 2yrs married upon POE so I'm supposed to get a 2yr conditional GC then do Removal of Conditions (ROC) in 2015.

Ladies, ano pong IV category ang nakalagay sa visa niyo? At dun sa stamp na nilagay upon POE?

Kaya siguro ang daming may error na F2A sa GC nowadays kasi biglang bumilis ang process natin from 2.5-3 years waiting period tapos naging less than 2 years na lang.

Haayy nako feeling ko 10yr din makukuha ko . Siguro mag-InfoPass na lang agad ako para maayos agad.
