Hello Kontumdiary! I too am working my way through the process with my fiance and hope to see an interview in Guangzhou sometime in late February or March.

VJ is a great place to learn all the technical details of the immigration process.

But if you want to learn more about Chinese/American relationships, culture, family, as well as what to expect of Guangzhou, and dealing with problems unique to Guangzhou, I highly recommend "A Candle for Love" http://candleforlove.com

Good luck on your Journey!

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Hey YuAndDan, :D

Thanks for your post. We're finished with GUZ, she passed her interview back in September. I'm traveling there to escort her to Texas in about two weeks. Wow, time is getting short and I have not even started cleaning house, :crying: But if I'm reading your page correctly it says you are a trucker at heart, then we have a lot in common. I trucked out of Texas to Canada each week for about 17 years, so there's not too much of western US I have not seen including 5 western provinces of Canada. KW's, Petes and Freightliners pulling nose-mounted Utility reffers was about all I knew there for a while until I found an easier way. Now I just sit in front of the monitor, talk on the phone and send e-mails to make money. ;) Anyway, if we ever have a chance to meet I'm sure we'll have lots and lots of trucker tales to tell. BTW, do you know the difference between a trucker tale and a fairly tale? Well, fairy tale starts out, "Once upon a time and a trucker tale starts out, "You ain't gonna believe this but ...."

Ok, I'm done, no more jokes tonight. Hey, I hope you have a super great 2007, ok, and thanks for the tip on the other site. You are correct, they are good for what they do. VJ is good for the technical stuff and directions. In fact, I got all my directions from VJ when we first filed K1. The darn directrions were so good the SO passed her interview on her first trip to GUZ and they only asked her three short and very easy questions. So I have nothing but high praise for VJ. Candle is good too but VJ has the best set of directions. So you stay in touch and best wishes always,
