I'm glad you measured your language a little there - as explicit threats of violence on an internet message board are a matter for the police, not just VJ admin.

But lets backtrack here... I did not say it was justified.

I said that human rights groups have questioned the impartiality of Saddam's trial, and that a biased politically motivated trial calls could jeopardise the investigation and subsequent prosecution of junior members of the regime (including rank and file soldiers) who are just as guilty of these atrocities as their superiors.

What kind of example is being set by this?
