it's been 2/3 weeks since I received the NOA2 from USCIS stating that their I-130 application has been approved. I am unsure what happens next?

Can someone from experience guide me thru the next steps please?

Should I received something by email or mail?

Yes, you will receive an email from the National Visa Center, with the case numbers and Invoice ID numbers to use so you can log-in to https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx to fill-up Choice of Agent forms and pay for needed fees. Try to call the NVC at 1-603-334-0700 to know the status of your petition. :)

Yes, I'm sure because I received those emails both for my parents. When you call the NVC, you just need to provide the receipt number that you can find in your receipt paper (Notice of Action).

Yes, it's always busy, you just need to keep trying. I tried more than 5 times sometimes and sometimes I can get through for one try.

NOA2 notice date was JAn 14. it is now Feb 26, i called NVC and they told me it has not been entered in the system yet but confirm USCIS sent the case over on Jan 30th or around that...should i follow up again next week? that would have been already 30 days. I mean, how long does it have to take for NVC to enter data into their system once received from USCIS? 5 weeks? 5 months? how long.....!?!?

From the time that the case is arriving with the NVC, it is taking approximately 30 business days for them to get it into the system and to allocate a case number. In the interim though, you can be proactive and get your I-864 (affidavit of support) package together :)

NVC are currently processing I-130 applications sent from UCSIS on Jan 27. My case was received on Jan 29th, according to NVC, so I will call back again next week. No NVC case has been processed for my parents application.

30 BUSINESS days..from the time UCSIS passed on the case to NVC is when NVC starts the processing.
