Aww im happy for you glad you got yours. Did the ceac status update for you?

I have had no such luck myself they seem to take about 4 weeks to reply to my emails.

The CEAC did not update, it still says 23 Jan, even though they apparently issued the letter on the 3rd Feb. I don't know if that's because our whole application never went though the US? Really just speculating...who knows.

I am still in shock we heard back 2 hours later. I don't even know how that happened, and I almost still don't believe the email my husband forwarded me from them. I used the form one other time, and they replied in 5 days. Again, I have no idea if it is because our case may be more straight forward, as we are getting an IR-1 visa, as we've been married for 8 years, lived in the UK for 8 years....again, I could just be making stuff up. Who knows.

I really feel bad that other people haven't been responded to...there is someone else here who is waiting for packet 3 and has not hear for about 4 weeks...I really don't understand how it works.

You could try tweeting them if you haven't already? Not sure if it makes any different....just a thought.

Just had a lovely letter pop through the letterbox. My interview is scheduled for Feb 25th.

My medical results were logged last Friday, and I was going to check my CEAC status this morning to see if it was worth ringing DOS but that hasn't changed.

My petition expires Feb 22nd so my fiance will have to send a new notarized letter over to me beforehand.

I'm so happy to have a date now, light at the end of the tunnel lol. But I'm quite surprised it was scheduled so quick and even more surprised that the letter arrived today.

:)

K-1 Process:

09/03/13 - NOA1

10/22/13 - NOA2

02/25/14 - Visa Interview - Approved!

07/23/14 - Early walk-in for Biometrics

09/04/14 - EAD Card Approved!

09/11/14 - EAD Card Received

Hi guys,

I'd like to join to this conversation.

I submited the ds-160 on the 7th of January, and the Readiness the 10th of January. Then I had the medical appointment last 16th of January, but I had some complicated problems that took 2 weeks to sort out. So I finally got the medical done last Monday 3rd of February and they sent it to the embassy straight away that day. The CEAC online status got updated on the 5th of February (assuming they received the medical result).

Can somebody tell me link to that email contact form? I would like to email them next week to see if I've got an appointment date assigned.

i've called NVC today, and they said to me that they can't access to that information, that I need to contact the London Embassy directly, but the phone number is an automated machine.

Thanks guys. I've been in this journey since the 8th of May 2013, so as you can imagine I've been waiting a long long time.

Contact form is here: http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html

Our medical results got to the embassy on the same day. Maybe we'll get interview news around the same time :)

WOW. Just received a very nice letter this morning informing me that my interview is on the 26th February. I used the contact form to request a date during half term as I'm a teacher currently doing long-term supply so I feel quite bad requesting time off when I'm covering for someone else :P

Can't believe my date came through so fast...and that they actually gave it to me during half term! Very pleased :)

Medical arrived at the embassy on 5th Feb, letter is dated 6th Feb. Last CEAC update was 5th Feb.

OMG! I'm so jealous right now, and happy for you.

Thanks for the link. I'm going to write them right now. I would love to have the interview date around the same day as you. I would like to move to Hawaii before the 6th of March. :)

You just gave me a lot of hope. I would love to receive the letter within the next 3-4 days, maybe tomorrow? ... I can't wait... :)

Sorry for the delay, but after my interview last wednesday 5th of March I've been in bed with almost 40 degrees of fever, I felt sick right after the interview (thank god!)

Fortunately I got approved my case. A few hours ago I received an email from the embassy giving me the tracking number for the delivery, and after checking the DX website, it seems that it's due for delivery tomorrow 11/03/14 :) I'm so happy.

I'm now packing my stuff and getting ready to buy my flight ticket for next friday or saturday.

After 3 years fighting to be together, and finally after same sex marriage became legal last June, the whole wait is coming to an end in a few days.

Here I go Hawaii.

Thanks everyone in this forum.
