Oh wow! It changed to 'issued' early this morning - maybe I'll get it tomorrow evening!

Mine left the embassy at the same time as me but in the couriers hands! (This was after my second interview, it may have been sped up because of this I'm not sure!)

I flew to Warsaw to be with my fiancé during her interview which I think made the whole process better for everyone.

It's was a really painless process and everyone at the embassy was so friendly. I think it took a total of 2.5 hrs most of which was just spent waiting our turn between steps. The interview was very quick, the gentleman asking questions was very personable, and we picked up her visa the next day. My only real complaint is it plus be so much easier if the pickup location was the embassy and not like 5km away in an industrial park at a shipping agency (TNT).

Ok, two things...CONGRATS TO EVERYONE BEING APPROVED!! :dancing: It is making me more and more excited for Ben to have his interview! And nervous! Lol! And second, I seen people talking about the affidavit of support and that is the only thing that really makes me nervous. See I have a household of 3 (my daughter as well) and I make just under the 125% for a household of three with just my normal income from work. But then I have my child support which puts me about 1000 over the 125%. I sent Ben a letter from my boss, like 5 or 6 paystubs, a bank statement with what we have in savings, and my child support statements. I didn't work much the year before due to a back injury so w2s wouldn't have looked very good! Also I had my dad fill out a affidavit of support as well just in case, but he doesn't have much proof of income because it is a pension and disability income! I just hope that it will be enough to get by. Anyone else have the situation of child support being an income?

I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about since he is going through the UK!

I receive child support also, but I did not put it anywhere on the affidavit of support. Honestly, my ex is lazy and is on and off with jobs so it can be inconsistent. I think since you have child support statements that show consistency that will help. I am close to the 125% number also, but I think it will be fine. I think we have to make around $24470ish? I make like $27500ish. I would rather be more than $3000 over for my peace of mind, but am trying really hard not to think about it :)
