Can you add Jake and Me to this too? We got our e-mail from the Embassy today (persistence does persevere!) and our interview is June 16th! :)

That said, does anyone (particularly from the UK Embassy) know where one adds the name of the partner attending the interview for "clearance" into the embassy?

Email the infounit email, I had to wait 45 minutes in the pouring rain for them to add my dads name to the list on the day! Make sure they bring a passport with them too :)

NOA2: (File accidentally sent to NVC without approval, NOA2 actually received 5th May 2014)

Ok, so does anyone know what would keep the Consulate from scheduling an interview if they've had everything they needed including medical results for weeks!? Ben just got an email response saying they haven't even scheduled it yet!!! I don't understand why some people get their interview scheduled as soon as the medical results come in and ours have been in and nothing! I feel helpless seeing READY on ceac (plus seeing it update like 5 times) and my fiancé and I can't do a thing about it! I have been a mess! I was hoping he could be here no later than June 20th but that doesn't look like it is going to happen! It makes me not even want to go to my cousins wedding without him! Sorry for the rant, but I just don't know how much more of this I can take before I'm going to be put in a nut house! Haha!

Hmmm I'm sorry you guys are going through this! Continue to reply to the emails they send you, asking for a date. It's more than likely they have actually scheduled it they're just being difficult. I've definitely learnt that the more you push in this visa process the 'faster' things are done!

Searching on the forums it looks like it's happened to a few other people when they've sent paper work in promptly? One couple completed their embassy paperwork too close to the medical and it slowed down the scheduling of the interview, I'm not sure if that in anyway could be applicable to you guys?

This confuses me too. Jake got the same initial email as you guys did, but he replied to LondonInfoUnit as Sail0r did, and he got a response a few days later (bank holiday slowed things up) with the interview date.

That said, when he wrote back he said: "Thank you for your reply. I kindly ask that if possible I be given my interview date by email so I may make travel arrangements as soon as possible. I need my interview date for the K1 visa, case #...... etc etc" and his medical was after yours.

Did they tell Ben, in fact, that all paperwork was received?

Yes the first email said we have everything we need to process your visa application. His medical results were in on 14th...so getting sick of receiving the same response he asked if they have even sent his letter out yet and if they have to please let him know his date. All very nicely and politely...this was the response we got yesterday. "Your immigrant visa appointment has not yet been scheduled. Once scheduled, notification will be sent to you on the same working day."

I balled my eyes out on the way to work. I don't even know what to think anymore.

01/12/15 - Received second email/text saying his EAD/AP card is being produced!

01/16/15 - Received email/text that EAD/AP card was mailed and was given tracking number

01/17/15 - EAD/AP card in hand!

01/29/15 - Received notification that our Interview has been scheduled for Mar. 3rd!

I'm on my phone so hopefully this posts correctly...

Andre just had his medical with Dr. Lyndon in Toronto. Everything went great! He has to get a booster shot but thats easy enough. 15 days til the interview...getting so excited!!

I will add paddington-bear to the interview list! Congrats!

Also I know this wont ease any worries but, everytime I got discouraged or impatient or sad with this process, it always got better within a few days. Just have faith and believe that everything will work itself out, because it will!

Did everyone in London who has an appointment pay the visa fee before or after it was scheduled?? I thought you waited until you got the letter but I've read on a few sites that you have to pay it before and maybe that's why mine and Nikki's cases are being held up!!! Gahhh!!! :ranting:

Haha I have no clue!! I emailed them to ask about the date and good thing I did, they emailed back saying Rich didn't submit everything yet, although I'm nearly positive we did! You're not joking... he began trying to get them back in early MARCH! thanks for the well wishes. :) now come on, Dublin, schedule that interview! :clock: Like some of you, we're on a time crunch. His lease, job license, car registration ALL expire in July. And naturally, I'd LOVE for him to be here for 4th of July. :)
