It's been horribly depressing reading about everyone else getting NOA2 and scheduling medicals and interviews :( I'm so happy for everyone, don't get me wrong but it has made me avoid this forum.

I am sorry you are going through the "scenic" route to the K1, as I like to call TSC. I guess the only good news is that you are on schedule according to them. Some of the CSC Feb filers haven't received theirs, which is unusual for that given center and has caused alternative forms of worry.

I saw you opened a separate Feb Filer TSC thread--rightfully so. While I think all Feb filers should have a joint threat like this, I think VJ should keep separate threads for TSC and CSC filers as well to encourage a more accurate and supportive community. I see no one from TSC has joined your Feb TSC thread---I hope they will now so you can find better and less depressing support for your needs. That said, we are also here for you and when your NOA2 does come in the 5 month period (and it will!), you will be quite pleased at how fast it all moves--within two months of the NOA2 you'll have your interview!! Don't give up on that October wedding just yet!!

Ok so I just got off the phone with the Consulate in London asking about my fiances interview date. She told me there is NO way to look up or get an interview date by phone or email (yet she wouldn't even take my info, just my name) and that the only way was to wait for the letter. Now I know some of you have received an interview date through email....It is soooo frustrating!!!

I am so sorry to hear this!! Honestly since getting NOA2 I've been weary of posting about the progress we've made because I don't want to upset other people. I know before I got NOA2 I was so sad seeing everyone else progress, yet obviously happy for them. It's really not fair. I know you've been waiting a lot longer than I had to wait, but if it makes you feel any better, once I got NOA2 I completely forgot about all the stress and depression that came along with waiting. It kind of just seems like a dream looking back on it. Your NOA2 will come and the joy you will feel will overpower the sadness from waiting. Good luck to you.

I'm still waiting for NOA2 :( and from what it looks like we will be waiting for awhile as we are at TSC

I'm so sorry TSC is so slow :( Soon you will have your NOA2 and all this waiting will be a distant memory. The pace is bound to pick up soon. It's like CSC and TSC take turns on who is slow.

Sent - thank you so much! I also sent one on the form on the London Embassy website, but they're closed for the day now, and I'm kind of itching to know! How long did it take for them to get back to you?

EDIT: Automated response from that email above:

I emailed on the day my ceac updated, they replied within 24 hours to say they'd send a letter! So ignored that and just sent the same email again the next day and finally got a date the next evening! This was maybe two weeks ago and I finally got my letter today! Considering my interview is in two weeks I'm glad I emailed aha!

Good luck!

Hey emailers:

So can you synthesize this for me for clarity? Do you use the Embassy contact form on their website first and then, when they inevitably reject your first attempt, "reply" to the e-mail at the address Sail0r gave? Is this what both of you did?

If so, on the US Embassy London contact form, is it the same as the one that asks you to read a bunch of ####### and then "Do you still have a question?" links you to an on-site submission request form that asks you to select a bubble (here: http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html )? If so, which bubble did you choose?

Sorry for the questions...this will be up and coming for us. Read elsewhere that people received their letters EIGHT days after the medical exam, but I'm doubting we'll be as lucky! Just want to prepare ourselves for what Nikki is going through---PERSISTENCE!

I used exactly that form you linked to and got a reply with the interview date less than 24 hours later - and a couple of days ago I got my letter in the post. I chose "I wish to know the status of my immigrant or fiancé visa application", if that helps!

Just say something like "Hi, I'm just wondering when my interview date for my K1 case is, as I completed my medical, readiness and DS160 a while ago. My case number is XXXXXXXXXX, kind regards, XXXXX" - that's basically all I said!

There was no difficulty or having to be persistent, for anyone to give me information. Try something like the above and see what happens? Good luck! :)

Thank you! CEAC shows that our case was updated today and the KB docs said the embassy would have our results by Thursday. Does this mean they've sent our letter or scheduled our interview? Can I e-mail now? Thanks again :) UK solidarity

I know! It is very weird that some people get it and some don't! It is beyond frustrating! Maybe they just give it to the beneficiary?? Ben emailed them yesterday, so we will see! Just waiting for a response! I want all of this to just be over!!!

No I thought of that, which is why Jake (the beneficiary) emailed them. I never contacted them myself. Maybe it's that we e-mailed them too soon--as soon as CEAC updated? They said they've received all forms and medical results, but that we need to wait for our letter. Perhaps they haven't scheduled our interview yet. It looks like most people received their letters 8 - 12 *working* days after the medical itself. Jake is terrified he will get in trouble for e-mailing them once more, but we said we would just wait the two weeks and try again if we didn't get our letter. Let's just hope they take some pity and give that date to us!
