I got an interesting letter yesterday. As I said in an earlier post I had went to see my congressman about an issue that was coming up for vote and at the end he said anything else.. So I told him about this ridiculous process and the asinine wait times they give. Long story short he asked for my info and I have it to him. To me I read this as "I think this is dragging too, now I'm leaning in them" what do you guys think?post-177852-0-90512900-1400432910_thumb.jpg

I agree! It seems like they are trying to get involved and get things sorted quickly. I really hope this is the case!! Isn't it ridiculous that if a congressman calls, they'll listen, but if the petitioner calls, they don't care? Hm..

I agree with paddington_bear. Indiana is sent to the California Service Center. It is based off of the state you reside in. Is your fiance currently residing in Indiana or did you file from another state? I was unable to look at your timeline. You may try calling USCIS to see why you were sent to TSC. I would be upset if I was sent to the wrong service center especially with the discrepencies between the two.

Interesting. You would think that if they needed more information, you would have a RFE or something by now. Have you contacted USCIS and asked for a Tier 2 officer just to make sure a RFE was not missed?

Did someone here get a job at USICS???

WOW..... I called (second time) and I got the (what seemed like) the most helpful person....

Anyway.... She was shocked I hadn't heard anything about my case by now, so she submitted a Case status review, then she proceeded to tell me "We have a projected date of June 3rd for you, it's strange you have not gotten an RFE or anything at this point"..... After this she told me basically how to "buck the system"... If I don't hear anything by June 3 to call back and ask for a level 2.... I have to ask 2-3 times they HAVE to try and persuade you not to go to tier 2, she even said "They will tell you it hasn't been 30 days since... Just ignore that and keep pressing".... Then she also gave me best times of day, and days to call on.... So now hopefully I will hear something soon... Now I have another number that if I call back I'll give them.

Hi just to let you know at my first petition last year I called every two weeks and spoke to Level 2 officers, non of them told me that I had an RFE in the computer waiting, except for the very last phone call right before the denial, one of the Level 2 officers told me that there is an RFE in the computer but looks like it was never sent to me. I paniked, he said to wait for something in the mail, and it was a denial of my I 129 due to not receiving of RFE. Its was very hard to proof anything at that point, I kept on calling everyday speaking to Tier 2 they all suggested that I Reapply as soon as possible and not to appeal because Appeals take up to one year and no guarantee that they will see their mistake. I hope nothing will go wrong this time, but I keep on calling every 2 weeks and demanding to speak to a Level 2 officer. Good Luck to you and to all still waiting. Im at TSC.
