I'd be tempted to advise against sending multiple emails in short spaces of time. This only serves to increase the volume of correspondence the Embassy have to deal with and almost certainly slows down their ability to get on with actual case processing. The knock-on effect is probably unfair on everyone else.

If you have an answer from them regarding your interview, whether you like the answer or not, I would recommend leaving it for another week before contacting them again.

We can still be thorough whilst letting these guys do their jobs!

Just a thought.

Hearing the many stories that they aren't very hasty with the letters, I am trying to stay on top of things. I made my second email a bit more specific (if they still do not provide a date I will wait) but I want to know that I did everything I can to get him here as quick as possible in hopes he can accompany me to my cousins wedding! From what I hear, the emails are getting responses and actions, so I don't see the harm in that!

I understand. We all want it over with as soon as possible. I'm just suggesting its possibly counter-productive sending many emails in a short space of time asking the same question.

Your case being touched does not necessarily mean an interview has been arranged, there are other administrative tasks that could have been performed.

I think for us Feb filers who are at interview can count ourselves lucky when there are still TSC folks waiting on NOA2 since last year. Its going well for us, and London is doing its job.

I surprised her with a proposal in Los Angeles, and this is how it went down!

I have a question regarding the medical exam: I remember reading somewhere on here (I've been trying to find it for about an hour haha!) that you should ask to have an additional form filled out that will be needed later on in the process (I believe it was for AOS). I don't think they will fill it out unless you ask for it. It may be a form regarding the vaccinations, I'm not sure though.

Does anyone know/remember which form that was? :)

I have read very little about this but I think you are referring to the I-693. I would think the Dr. would already have these forms at your medical if it is something we will need.

Edited: I believe this is one of the things they put inside the sealed envelope that they will give you.

Yes, you are right. On that form it states:

3. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?

If you were admitted as a:

a. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or as a

b. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and

c. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:

(1) You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination, and the medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition, or if you did have a Class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility and have complied with the terms and conditions on the waiver.

(2) Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you are required to submit the vaccination record and page 1 of Form I-693.

So I'm guessing DS3025 needs to be completed and copied?

2/3/14 I-129F Mailed

6/16/14 Embassy Interview--Approved!!!!

7/11/14 Marriage :)

7/25/14 AOS + Work Authorization Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

7/31/14 NOA1--Electronic Notification

8/26/14 Biometrics Appointment--Indianapolis

9/18/14 EAD approved--Electronic Notification

2/15/15 Notice of Interview Waiver (and Case Delay due to heavy processing load)

5/5/15 RFE (Requested another certified copy of marriage license)

5/14/15 Submitted Materials for RFE

5/28/15 Greencard Approved/In Production!!!!!

I had my medical check a few days ago. The doctor fills out the DS 3025 for vaccination history. At the bottom of that form it has a note to the doctor saying 'give copy to patient' (or something like that). As the doctor was filling this form in I just requested if I could have a copy. As I understand, you do indeed need this DS 3025 for AOS. This form was given to me by the consulate in my packet 3 along with the other medical forms to take to my medical...I'm pretty sure the doctor is always required to fill it in, so I wouldn't worry too much about it not being filled out if you didn't ask them. Awesome :) I'm glad this topic was brought up. I will tell my fiance about the DS3025. It was not included in the Packet 3.
