I keep hoping I'll check in on the threads and more people will be approved!! I can't believe how slow TSC is moving! They really should forward some cases to CSC. I hope you guys are all holding up okay!! Once you get NOA2, you kind of forget about all the torture you went through before.. Or at least it seems a distant memory, which I never thought would be the case. It's been 10 days since NOA2 and I have been trying to call NVC today to get our case number. So far I've only gotten the busy signal. I was hoping Rich could book his medical as soon as we got the number from NVC but he doesn't have his police cert. yet (sent away for it a few days ago). I'm hoping it doesn't take too long to get here!! Love seeing the progress people are making, I just wish everyone was in the same boat!! Keep the hope alive guys!!

Their disorganization sure does cause a lot of heartache to those going through the process. You would think they would realize there is a problem (since they are approving people from this year even though there are people from last year that have been left behind) and do everything they can to fix it. Unfortunately, that's not how they work. I feel your pain. It's a long process for most, but once we're all through it, the hard times will be a distant memory and we can enjoy our new lives with our loved one.

Congrats on your noa2 :)

London received my case on the 28th and was set to ready today! So 4 days! Everything has been flying by since our noa2!

Question though! My fiancé has his medical in a week from tomorrow...so is he not allowed to book his interview until his medical takes place and he has results?? Or after he fills out his readiness form can he call and schedule it for after his medical? I was unsure about that!

Case arrived in London and they're ready! Just waiting on that darn police certificate so I can book the medical - and of course waiting on docs from the Embassy itself. AHHHHH

How long ago did you order it? Took my fiancé almost 3 weeks to get it back. You can schedule your medical two weeks from now and hopefully you'll get it back in time!

You can arrange the medical interview without the police certificate?! I've been sitting around waiting for the certificate! Goodness - going to arrange that tomorrow, now. I ordered it on 15th April.

Yep! All you need is your case number! You need your police certificate for the medical itself!

so I decided to email the P3 packet this week (the ds160 confirmation, scan of my passport, and p3 checklist) ....

Lately I have been feeling pretty positive about this process (alto I hv become a visajourney stalker... lol) but then I started thinking :-( about the financial support........I am a yoga instructor (so little pay lol,) and my fiancé is a satellite tech and makes well over the poverty line (which I believe is $20000 for a 2 person family) .....my concern is that he was working for a company for 5 years but got a great offer from another company in Feb and decided to move on ....so he has only been with this new company for 2 months...... my concern is that by the time I have my interview, he will have only been there for 4-5 months.... could that be a problem? Even tho he can show tax returns from the past few years showing he has been above the poverty line?

Thanksssssss!!!!!

As far as I know, they only take into account your fiancé's current/recent situation. As long as the current job is verifiable and is above the poverty line, you should be fine.

I guess I am just concerned that he has only been at this job for a short time.....i am hoping that we don't need a co-sponsor..

Ps congrats on your case taking the next positive step!!!!
