Flights are very expensive. I have been checking late at night to see if I get lucky. I know if in the next week they do not go down, I am going to have to bite the bullet and book my flight (time 2, my son is coming with me). Look at the bright side, you dont have to pay for your baby till he is 2 and his dad will be here by then smile.png . My dates are set, my little one is on spring break Thats the only time we can go till the summer.

Ejai, try Momondo.com. I have had the best luck there with international flights. :) good luck! I'm expecting to head to Ireland for a nice chunk of time once this school year ends. CAN'T WAIT!

I am going to look right now. I was checking flights when I got your message. Because of work I can not take a nice chunk anymore. Was planning on taking all of July on leave, but was laid off of my job. Thankfully I was blessed with a new job within 2 weeks. My supervisor approved my time to go in April and for out appointment whenever that will be.

Thanks for the site, checking now.

Hi! W ehave Almost the same timeline. How did you get the Alien registration number? unsure.png Was it on your hardcopy NOA1? Mine was blank cray5ol.gif

SoyDeEI... no body gets the A number until an RFE or NOA2 shows up on the mail.... so what is important is a number is assigned and not what it is. BTW... don't worry... TSC is catching up with CSC when it comes to sending to NVC. I bet mine is going sit on someone's desk for two weeks before it is shipped to NVC. TSC is known to send on the next morning once approved..

That was FREAKY fast!!! Congrats!!! Let's hope we all have a timeline as fast as yours. biggrin.png

Trust me... I was skeptical when ppl were saying theirs was approved less than a month... so seeing mine in 18 days since NOA1 was issued.. I was like... really ohmy.png .... so just wait three weeks.. and you will get your NOA2 by mail.... BTW.. you need to register in the USCIS site to get an update either by text or email

Also try Kayak.com and check multiple times a day. Also check different days, some days are cheaper to fly than others. I just recently booked my flight to London a couple weeks ago for two weeks in May. My fiancé was checking flights for me and the day I booked my flight it was $100 cheaper in the morning. By afternoon the prices went back up. I was also planing on flying back home on a Sunday but noticed that if I flew back the following day it was significantly cheaper.

Hey everyone! We count as February filers, filing just last week - 11th February, and just got our NOA1, and a notice we'd been transferred to the California Service Center. I'm really hoping these rumors of the CSC being quicker are true :D

A side note - I just worked out an average of the times between NOA1 and 2 for the CSC (with no RFEs) and it seems to be 35 days (out of a sample of 22) - some as short as 25-30, some longer at about 40. So mark that in your calendars based on when you got your NOA1s!

Reduce the image size from any photo editing software, photoshop is best. :)

Just change the percentage of image size from 100% to maybe 25%, but can vary as per needed.
