I have a couple quick questions which I was hoping you lovely people could help me out with. I'm still waiting for confirmation that NVC has received my case. Called on Friday and they don't have record yet. I'm pretty sure they'll receive it this week, as I'm just at the two week mark from getting my NOA2 approval. Here's my questions:

1. Once I call and get my case # from NVC, how long before I can schedule the medical and interview?

2. When should I have my Fiance fill out the DS 160?

3. When can I have my Fiance pay the visa fee at BPI (Philippines)?

4. I believe in the Philippines, Packet 3 is online, and you don't actually have to send anything back, correct? More just check that you have all the items for the interview?

5. What is packet 4 about, and when does it arrive?

All you expertise is greatly appreciated Good luck to all! We're making progress

I would check out the Filipino forum if I were you. Seems like a lot of people there jump ahead and even schedule their appointments ahead of time. Manilla is pretty booked with interviews for the next couple months. See what you need to do to schedule your interview NOW.

anyways, how did you know that packet3 is online? u mean fiance in the philippines will gonna receive email? i chatted 1 fpinay fiance she said she received the letter from the embassy. did you know someone who got instructions online?

Abby, I'm sure things are fine. You'll see. It won't even have far to go between New Hampshire and Quebec! once it's in transit, it'll be like 2 days.

It's only been a week since NOA2, but I called today and NVC had my case number! The operator said they're moving cases out a bit more quickly now, so it's likely I'll be in transit to London within the week, but she can't guarantee it!

Question, esp. for UK filers, that is similar to the one above: Do I have to wait until the case shows "in transit" or until it's absolutely received before I book the medical? Jake and I need a very specific date for our medical, and right now people are saying they have a lot of open appointments at Knightsbridge....all Knightsbridge asks is that we have our LND Case # to book it...and we wouldn't be booking it until May 19th, so it's not like we'd book it for next week...

Thoughts?

I checked out your link, and it was so helpful! Thank you very much! Hanks list tells you exact details of what to do after NOA2. Extremely helpful. I called NVC and my paperwork arrived today, wooot wooot Got my case number, and now I told my fiance to pay visa fee at BPI. I'm going to try and schedule my interview online tomorrow.

Question for all you Visa Journeyists.... I am the petitioner, can I schedule the interview online for my fiance? Or does she need to schedule herself as she's the beneficiary?
