Hey everyone,

Based on the 1 month range that VJ has provided, how far off or close were you when receiving your NOA2? I know that the data is skewed and I try not to think about it (If it's not somewhat accurate than just take it off the site so people like me can stop looking at it, haha).

Thanks!

Congrats on the latest NOA2's!

Hey there! Are you talking about the VJ estimated date for approval? I was at CSC and mine was off by almost a month. At one point it started going backwards and then stopped around March 28th. I just got NOA2 on April 21st. I kind of wish they would remove that feature because it really is a random guesstimate that is rarely right, and it gives people false hope. Also, I waited 69 days from NOA1 to NOA2.

I don't think the estimates are very accurate, but I guess thats why their "estimates" haha.

My petition was actually approved a couple weeks earlier than my estimate, but it changed daily.

On April 7th we received our letter from the NVC stating that our petition is being sent to Montreal. I looked online yesterday (ceac website) and it said that my case is ready for me to schedule an interview. I have not received my P3 package as yet, does anyone know how long it normally takes for the packaged to be received?

Also, I am not fully aware of the documents required.... so I have a few questions....

The photos that are required.... are they passport photos?

The police certificate.... do I get that from the Ontario Police?

I134 forms.... what documents are needed to show support (as my fiancé will be supporting me)?

Is there a way to contact Montreal embassy to ask if the package has been mailed out?

Thanks in advance for all your advice!!!

Hi Robynne!

Since my fiance will go through the Montreal, I have been researching the ####### out of it LOL

Anyway, it seems some people don't receive Packet 3 at all, but since you're status is ready, you can go ahead and send it in anyway. Here is the link to the exact information they would be sending: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/canada/303578/montreal/Packet3-K1-MTL.pdf

Then, once they receive this, they will send out Packet 4.

All the instructions are in the Packet 3, but it says you need 2 passport style photos.

For the I-134, you'll need paystubs, an employer letter, tax transcripts, and maybe bank statements.

This link has contact information: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Canada&cty=Montreal

Good Luck! I will be following your progress :)

thanks so much....

So I have all that information for the I134, as well as photos etc. .....so that means I can just print off checklist, fill it out, scan it and email it with a copy of my DS160 and my fiancé's passport info to the Montreal consulate?

I have been with my fiancé since mid February and am thinking about flying back In May and have my fingers crossed that this is all completed sooner than later..... don't want to be away from him for so long....lol (I know corny!)

Thank you again for this info!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback! I know it's just an estimate, but wasn't sure how far off they really were.. Mine currently states sometime between April 27th - May 26th; A couple weeks ago it was May 25th - June 26th. Stupid.

Just crossing my fingers that we get approved soon!!!

Nice to see another Marylander :) Keep in mind those people were approved by CSC which have been approving them very fast and are caught up, while me and you are stuck at TSC and they are backlogged still working on December. Crappy reality I know
