You have to sign up for text and email notices again via your "my case portfolio" with the receipt #. The electronic notice you signed and sent to the USCIS was the initial notice I believe.

If you did it already, though, then maybe call?

Wow thanks for that tip! Last touched Feb 13 ohmy.pngwacko.png They mailed out my hard copy Feb 14 as I see the postmark on the envelope. Guess that its lying in a pile somewhere now.crying.gif I had no idea we had to sign up again for these notification.ClockWatch2.gif THANKS SO MUCH!!! sending an overflow of positive approval energy your way!!! star_smile.gifstar_smile.gifstar_smile.gifstar_smile.gifstar_smile.gifrolleyes.gif

Hi everyone!

My check was paid today. I just got the email and text for the NOA1. A tiny step closer in this long process.

Majority of the time I am optimistic and look at each day as another day closer. I am just hoping Texas starts moving faster. I know they had bad weather and were probably closed, but some weekend OT would be great for them to get these cranked out. I go from one extreme of the emotional roller coaster to another. Right now my high is that I finally sent it and its in process and my trip in April. But I know once I get back in April I wont see him again till we have our interview. I am a single mom and flights from Atlanta are expensive. That thought takes me down on my roller coaster.

I am keeping my faith and hope high this time will fly and he will be here before I know it. Hopefully we all get good news soon!

12th March 2014: File sent to NVC (without approval)

My understanding is that you don't quite know your # at this stage in the process--it doesn't come on the NOA1 and it wasn't released (at least not yet...) electronically for me on the uscis.gov "My Case" site, even though I received the notification. They just notify you that your beneficiary now has one.....but if someone else got the actual #, I'd also like to know how you figure it out!!

And yes, everyone, it looks like CSC is processing transfers just as fast if not faster than petitions originally sent directly to them. I've been crunching the numbers and doing some VJ timeline stalking--even CSC RFEs come within a month or so and are resolved within a couple weeks after a reply. Actual petitions are getting approved within 1 - 2 months. All of the November and almost all of the December CSC transfers (and a majority of the CSC original filers) have their NOA2s--even those with RFEs . . . .let's hope they keep up the pace!!! :)

2/3/14 I-129F Mailed

6/16/14 Embassy Interview--Approved!!!!

7/11/14 Marriage :)

7/25/14 AOS + Work Authorization Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

7/31/14 NOA1--Electronic Notification

8/26/14 Biometrics Appointment--Indianapolis

9/18/14 EAD approved--Electronic Notification

2/15/15 Notice of Interview Waiver (and Case Delay due to heavy processing load)

5/5/15 RFE (Requested another certified copy of marriage license)

5/14/15 Submitted Materials for RFE

5/28/15 Greencard Approved/In Production!!!!!

My love is selfish. I cannot breathe without you. - Keats

What USCIS-es you only makes you stronger.....

We had to cancel our trip (i would stil be there now and heading back home this friday). and so now we are looking to rebook end of March maybe but flights are through the roof. Flying with a lap baby is not exactly a piece of cake for me or the travelers around me.

I hope and pray that the process can get easier for me because the passed 12 days have been grueling beyond words as Ive often expressed here. lol sorry all but wow its something unexplainable.

Why cant they just allow them here on a probationary period and then if completed then the processing continues but at least we would be with our loved ones. This was is totally inhumane. ranting33va.gifClockWatch2.gif

Flights are very expensive. I have been checking late at night to see if I get lucky. I know if in the next week they do not go down, I am going to have to bite the bullet and book my flight (time 2, my son is coming with me). Look at the bright side, you dont have to pay for your baby till he is 2 and his dad will be here by then smile.png . My dates are set, my little one is on spring break Thats the only time we can go till the summer.
