do not wait for that letter...That letter was sent to me after 3 weeks my fiancé was approved at her interview...You don't have to wait for your letter...just read through this thread you can find instructions here...http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/341458-can-i-set-an-interview-without-the-appointment-letter/

oh ok.. but can i ask are there any changes with the requirements? the sample k1 letter from the embassy here in vj it states there that the visa fee is 350$ but now its just 240$ ... i wonder if there are any changes in the requirements? you received the letter isnt? you notice some changes except for the visa fee?

11-03-14 - NOA for my son's EAD (email and text)

12-03-14 - EAD expedite request over the phone / Scheduled infopass appt online

12-04-14 - Infopass

12-08-14 - Change of Address online ( we moved to Ohio)

12-09-14 - Change of Address effective

12-11-14 - Received an Interview Letter (Jan. 15)

12-17-14 - Received Letter of Cancellation for the Interview

12-19-14 - EAD/AP APPROVED / for production

12-27-14 - Received EAD/AP in the mail

12-29-14 - applied for SSN using new EAD, need verification from DHS becuase i am not yet in the system

12-30-14 - Received email for Interview Appointment on January 29

01-29-15 - Interview

02-03-15 - SSN received in the mail / received letter from USCIS that i need to complete I-693 vaccination worksheet form

02-10-15 - submitted form I-693

02-12-15 - Card in production (thank God!)

02-20-15 - card mailed

02-25-15 - card received in mail (delayed from usps)

Please, please PLEASE!!! Positive thoughts,vibes, and prayers to all of us Feb filers who haven't received our approval yet :( This is getting so stressful, depressing and ughh!! Can we just get it already!! Congrats to all of you that have already received your noa2 :)

Positive thoughts for us February filers who are still waiting for their NOA2's!! Getting stressed out because I don't know how much longer I can extend my lease.. I just want to be home :(

Today our CEAC status changed from "at NVC" to "in Transit" after it was only received at the NVC on Apr16. Yes, 2 days only to process in and out of NVC. We are truly blessed. We were NOA1'd Feb26 and NOA2'd Apr3 at CSC. We are beyond happy how our paperwork has moved in just under 60 days. Believe in Him and that good things will happen to You.

September 25, 2014: Status changed to "Request For Evidence Response Review"

October 9, 2014: I 485 changed to "Testing and Interview"

October 9, 2014: EAD changed to "Card/Document Production"

October 9, 2014: AP changed to "Post Decision Activity"

October 18, 2014: EAD and AP arrive in the mail!

October 23, 2014: Got a Job! - My very first American job! Yay!

January 14, 2015: AOS interview

m gonna go and pay the visa fee even without the letter from the embassy, i already have the mnl # so i think im good to go. does anyone here knows if i still need to fill up ds-156? or just the ds-160?

I havent really read the letter but i do remember paying 240 not 350. But i have read they were raising the visa fee in April.

2014/1/31 USCIS received petition
2014/2/12 I129f approved
2014/2/15 NOA2 hard copy recieved in mail
2014/02/21 MNL case # received, administrative processing
2014/02/25 in transit to US Embassy Manila
2014/02/26 Paid Visa fee and scheduled Interview

2014/03/11 Medical Evaluation
2014/03/18 Interview date *APPROVED*

I didnt think it would be this quick. We just gotta wait for the VISA to be mailed to her house and then the CFO seminar.

When did you get NOA2? It takes at least 2 weeks. We got ours after 13 days. I'm thinking we were approved around the same time...just keep calling!

Hello Abby & Andre we were approved April 7th i am the Beneficiary my fiancé hasn't called yet he's waiting for two weeks mark :D

I bet you will get it this week!

I called on Friday and they didn't have our case yet. I am planning on calling back on Wednesday, which is the official two week mark.

The customer service representative I spoke to on the phone told me to call back in about three and a half weeks. I almost said, "If it takes you three and a half more weeks I will dissolve into a ball of tears!!!"

The positive news is, I think I only waited about 15 minutes on hold.

My status on CEAC still says AT NVC so it hasn't been sent to the embassy yet. Do you know if we can send Packet 3 whenever it changes to Ready?
