I know of these waves also. Definitely a lesson in patience this noa2, easier said than done!

I made a video of me and Michelle getting engaged for family and friends and thought why not post it here, it's no oscar winner but I'm glad we have this to get us through and look back on in a few years:

you're welcome. :)

On another note: my NOA2 hard copy came in the mail today. So much more official-looking than the NOA1! And it only took 3 business days to get to me (of course, I'm only a few hours up the road from the USCIS in Cal). I wasn't expecting it to arrive so soon. I guess they conditioned me to WAIT! lol Happy Friday, all.

That is brilliant Tina! I can't wait to read about how Johan got on at the Dublin embassy! Enjoy the 2 weeks with him :) I'm flying over to Gary on Wednesday and so excited!

Anyone have any updates for February filers at TSC? I'm happy to hear that people are getting their NOA2's so quickly but it's frustrating to see people from March get their petitions approved already! At first I was just happy to know that we filed and just had to wait, but now I have been so anxious about it.

There are so many people who live abroad from their spouses and have to jump through more hoops (so I thought) than us, which is why I thought that our case would be so easy! My mother has her PR and I went down to work on a visa, met my fiance, went back to Canada and finished school, and obtained two additional visa's and shared an apartment with him and our two dogs. I was even able to transfer within my US based company to a location in Canada when I couldn't renew my work permit! Now that we finally decided to get married, we can't even plan things like a normal couple because we have no idea how long this process is going to take.

Sorry for the rant, but I'm sure you have all been in the same boat.

It's not just TSC if it makes you feel any better. SO many people who received NOA1s at the same time or significantly after me (Feb 13th) have gone on to get either approvals or (more rarely) an RFE. It was two months to the date today, and nothing for me. I'm getting concerned not because of the timeline per se--we filed in time for our plans, so even an July approval (5 months) is OK--rather, I'm concerned that they lost my file or something is significantly "wrong" with it because so many people around my time frame are approved at CSC. :( stressful time indeed

2/3/14 I-129F Mailed

6/16/14 Embassy Interview--Approved!!!!

7/11/14 Marriage :)

7/25/14 AOS + Work Authorization Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

7/31/14 NOA1--Electronic Notification

8/26/14 Biometrics Appointment--Indianapolis

9/18/14 EAD approved--Electronic Notification

2/15/15 Notice of Interview Waiver (and Case Delay due to heavy processing load)

5/5/15 RFE (Requested another certified copy of marriage license)

5/14/15 Submitted Materials for RFE

5/28/15 Greencard Approved/In Production!!!!!

My love is selfish. I cannot breathe without you. - Keats

What USCIS-es you only makes you stronger.....

Reading through the site at all the delays upon delays ....even when u get approved after the interview there might be an AP snag. Omg this process is truly hell. All the suffering and sadness to be read here. They should assign individual people to the cases and that would give it a human touch. I guess that's not what they want, but wow. I'm overwhelmed with the angst I read.(and feel) I called today although its been just over 2 months that we got our NOA1 & the officer was so nice. I got the response I expected but like others I thought maybe our file got lost. I was assured its in queue and it could/should happen in the next 3 months or then I can escalate. :( sad. Just feel a quiet heavy sadness to my heart and soul.

I am with you on that. My NOA1 day is February 11th and i am getting so anxious. I try to keep myself distracted but nothing helps. I don't really understand the order CSC is going in it's so hard to plan anything. I am hoping to have my fiancé back the end of June beginning of July. Hang in there hopefully we will get approved soon!!!!

Met at Walt Disney World when we were interns 6/2/2013

Started dating 7/8/2013

Thanks! It can't be far away for you and the rest of Feb filers...has been pretty confusing so far with Feb approvals being a bit all over the place!
