All those approved ones you mentioned from March- pls look at their timelines more carefully. They r actually Cali filers. They think they get transferred from TX to Cali, that's why they put Texas as their center. They mess up the data on Igor's list.

Wait... They can come to the states and visit????

If this is addressed to me, I sure hope so!! There's no law against it, and he booked this trip before we applied for the K1, but I've seen horror stories on here, and I'm pretty worried. :( until reading about people being turned down at the border, I would have never thought it was possible.

Good catch! I'm not sure why there is so much confusion regarding the service centers. I guess it is because everyone mails their petition to Texas in the beginning.

Joan, I know that K2's are required to also have the fee paid. I'm also pretty sure that they need the DS-160 filled out too, and the medical exam as well. It's the same process as you are going through. Also, if your son is over 16, he will also need his own police clearance. We are also doing a K2 for a 10-year old. all the fees are doubled since there's two of them.

Woohoo!!! glad to help.

Lol techmedic that tracker comment made me lmbo.

And that solves the mystery of Texas... Guess ill hunker down and wait for a few months. Lol at least it's easier knowing that they screwed the calculations way off because they assumed the Dallas Lockbox was the TSC. Sigh hohummmmm here we go. Sat will be our 2 month to the date of our NOA. So we are almost half way to the time we can start throwing temper tantrums.

Hopefully w the thawing of the weather time will fly by....hopefully. Lol

As for visiting with the pending K-1 my fiancé is over here right now and made it through with no problems. It is only for 2 weeks tho. He's getting the cold feet with the huge move and life change, I was excited to get a noa 2 and he wasn't so much. It's like the having to save for years and never being ready thing. Not that it's a new concept but I think he about puked when I told him we were approved. Meh it's hard to be excited when it's so hard on him even if we've been together for almost 4 years.

Yes, I am visiting my fiance now. I had a bunch of papers to prove I will have to go back in two weeks (employment, property, car etc.) but they never even asked me for them. I was visiting him for Christmas though. The only question i got was for how long I'll be staying in the US , after hearing about the two weeks the officer stamped my passport and handed it to me :D
