We still haven't heard anything either. I am currently in DR with him. Brought my little one to meet him and he is totally in love with him. Its great seeing them interact. Holding out hope to get our NOA2 while here. He is getting anxious and he is the optimistic level headed one. Trying yo maintain the faith for an approval by Monday. We leave Monday afternoon and wont be back till our interview. This wait is agonizing.

That'd be the best gift to get while visiting, I think. :) We kinda thought it would happen that way, as he's visiting this weekend for 2 weeks. And I know what you mean about the level-headed one getting anxious. It was beginning to happen here too. :( Good luck! it'll be soon. :)

I had an early feb noa1 and I've heard nothing yet either :( I guess the good news is that even if it takes 5 months (in characteristic of CSC), that will still be July. I'm in the UK from may to June for research, so I'll get to see my love then, which means a July approval would likely result in an August/early September at the latest POE. So only two months or so. But even the weeks are hard. So I'm hoping we get even an rfe by the end of April--any news on our case!--so that we know, at least, that the i129f process is almost done....sigh.

2/3/14 I-129F Mailed

6/16/14 Embassy Interview--Approved!!!!

7/11/14 Marriage :)

7/25/14 AOS + Work Authorization Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

7/31/14 NOA1--Electronic Notification

8/26/14 Biometrics Appointment--Indianapolis

9/18/14 EAD approved--Electronic Notification

2/15/15 Notice of Interview Waiver (and Case Delay due to heavy processing load)

5/5/15 RFE (Requested another certified copy of marriage license)

5/14/15 Submitted Materials for RFE

5/28/15 Greencard Approved/In Production!!!!!

My love is selfish. I cannot breathe without you. - Keats

Two things!

Firstly, my fiance still hasn't had an email or text notification about our NOA2, even though My Case Status says a letter has been sent out - is that normal?

Secondly, my fiance and her Dad will be a joint sponsor for me, in terms of the Affidavit of support - is there anywhere on the i-134 form to declare this? How does this work?

Some people never receive a text or email alert even though they are signed up for them so I would say this is probably normal. You may not get one at all. I know a couple others in this group did not receive them either.

I'm not sure of the answer to your second question. Are you the petitioner or the beneficiary? If your fiance is the petitioner and her dad is going to cosponsor, they will both need to fill out the I-134 and gather the supporting documents.

I'm the beneficiary. So my fiance and her dad would complete one i-134 each? Thanks!

Yes and they will also each need the employer letter or paystubs and tax transcripts. I'm not sure what all they will actually look at, but I would rather take more info than needed than not have enough! :)

Congratulations everybody who got their NOA2, it is truly a blessing from God!!! Good Luck on the rest of your journey guys!!! :-):-):-) We really hope we get approved this time with no complications since first time they screwed up big time. We're hoping for the best!!!!

Hi hakobrena,

I remember I had read your posts when you received your denial. And I think there was another person in the same situation with you. I felt so sorry for you guys. But I think this time you will get it with no problem.

I was wondering this: when you filed the first petition, did you also create an online account at USCIS? If so, were you following it?

Good luck this time

Hi Ashleyphilly thank yii so much, yes I created an online update and followed it everyday, I also periodically called uscis to double check if there is anything else they need for my petition, probably ones a week after 3 months of waiting I've been calling them, they never told me there was an RFE thst they were waiting for. Sovat the end of 7 months and after a service request I received a text that to check for update on the website and it was Denied. I tried calling them and explaining that I haven't got any RFE also I checked my mail every day

but they said apply for motion which will take approximately a year. One of the officers said don't waste your time for motion just reapply as soon as possible. So I did this February. I hope thst there will be no mistake this time.
