Ah ... we originally filed to Texas but it got forwarded to California... I'm sure Texas will catch up soon, though!

Not sure if you know this; ALL petitions are posted/sent/mailed to Texas.

This is not the service centre your petition stays at. The NOA1 will state SRC or CSC and this is NOT a transfer.

If you were in fact "transfered" you would have received an NOA1 and another notice afterwards stating it has been transfered/routed to another service centre.

The reason I am pointing this out is because I have seen 10 timelines recently stating they got an NOA1 and a transfer in the very same day which is impossible and it is now making the TSC timelines totally inaccurate. So those of us actually being processed at the TSC (not the Texas sorting facility) can't rely on the timeline predictions here at all

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

Well, ours won't have skewed anything, as it does correctly say on my timeline that the service center was California - it was only on my forum profile that it said Texas (that was way back when we filed and didn't now as much as we know now). We did get a transfer notification, too.

Don't worry! They're not going to be that skewed...

The biggest issue we're having right now is my fiance HATES the fact that I will have to financially support him while he waits for the EAD. He is very independent and somewhat traditional. I am worried about him going stir crazy since he won't be able to work right away. I just don't want him to be miserable here for the first couple months. I really hope he can find a job as soon as he is able for both of our sanities LOL[

I know I'm going to be spending the time exercising after every trip to see Michelle has resulted in hot dog and pizza weight gain haha. The Midwestern food will be responsible for wide lens camera wedding snaps!

I still feel like my previous post probably sounded stupid, but to be honest, I've never really used any forum before. I'm finding it kind of hard to navigate, and the search function doesn't seem to work for me. It just says "Loading" and never does anything. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyway, I've mainly been sticking to this February thread.. so I apologize if it seemed like I haven't tried to look things up! I still never really found an answer about NVC notifications, though. Maybe I'm also bad at Google ;) I guess I'll find out whenever a letter or e-mail shows up, it's just killing me waiting. I'd like to know what to expect!

Here's another potentially stupid question, but I figure if I at least stick to website questions, I can find my other million answers I've been looking for :) LOL, sorry if I'm missing a huge user guide thread somewhere. help meeee?

How do I find a country-specific thread?
