From what I have read and gathered, others have waited 2 weeks after getting NOA2 before they started calling NVC while some started calling right away. We have to wait for CSC to ship our petitions to NVC and they log them in, so I would give them some time.

Personally, I'm going to wait the 2 weeks before I start calling and then hopefully it will already be there and they can give me a case # to track it from that point. In the meantime, my fiance and I researched what he will need for Packet 3 and are starting to gather the documents so we'll be prepared. We have to wait for him to receive his "long form" birth certificate anyway since he didnt have one.

Just got packet 3 from the embassy in London! Immediately went online and filled out all the forms, be prepared for the lengthly online forms which are basically 10 pages of 'are you a human organ trafficker, are you a communist' and in depth history of yourself!

Which means all I have left is my medical in 2 weeks and then the interview which will be scheduled after they've received my results. Such excitement! It's so nice to see everyone's cases moving! :D

Sailor is that the DS 160 form??? And Congrats!!!!!

Congratulations to all you approved NOA2 peeps!!! I'm SO happy for you but SOOO sad for me!!! Another week and nothing. We are into April and this is just like Chinese water torture. Ugh

Raquel, I hope you're right! My NOA1 was in the first week of Feb, so I'm stressing! But the cool thing (and this is what keeps me from crying in the fetal position daily. ha!) is that he'll be here Saturday for TWO WEEKS, and it'd be pretty cool if we got NOA2 while he's visiting his future home. :) (But really, I'm channeling Varuka Salt of Willie Wonka fame. "I want it NOW!") :rofl: Our time is coming. Meanwhile... I'm stoked for those of us who've already gotten theirs. What a great bunch of people to be sharing this experience with. :)

Does anyone know the explanation as to why TSC is taking so long? or is there no reason and they just are taking their sweet time?? So frustrating!!

Apparently, Texas get twice the amount of applications, you can see the statistics and details on dashboard.uscis.gov :) up until a short while ago they were taking minimum of 4 months to approve most cases!

NOA2: (File accidentally sent to NVC without approval, NOA2 actually received 5th May 2014)
