They are there on Saturdays but probably only til noon or something and I dont know if the adjudicate petitions or not. The only reason I'm saying this is because they signed for my petition at the Post Office on a saturday....but my "received" date wasnt until the following Monday.

Timeline

I don't know if it's someone up high teaching me a lesson for my last post, but my fiancé just arrived home to a letter from the department of state stating that NVC had received my case and was forwarding it to the American embassy in London! It's dated march 26th! I'm slightly confused though because it hasn't updated online (I thought the case status changes online?) and/or I didn't get any notification... It's like my case has skipped two steps ahead...

Hopefully this means that everyone else's cases are going to start mo

Hello all,

I got my NOA about three weeks ago. I didn't get an notification, etc about a change of Alien Number changed. my fiancée(beneficiary) never had one. does it mean that my alien number gets changed?

I am confused about this alien number change which all of you seem to have gotten changed.

Please advise.

Congrats!!! :) I really hope all the feb filers get approved very soon because Im going crazy here! 11 more days and Im going to Boston to stay with Gary for a week and would be just perfect getting approved while I'm there!

Hi! On your NOA1 (the notification you got), there should be a receipt number that starts with three letters. If you go to www.uscis.gov and click on "Check my case status" you can input that number and it will tell you the latest on your case. That is where it will tell you that your alien number has been changed. :D Hope that helps!
