Hi everybody,

My fiancee sent the petition in late January, and we received our NOA1 by text on Feb 4th. I am the beneficiary. My Alien number got changed the same day. (Actually I already had A number since I had an H1B visa before.) Good luck to everybody. I hope this will be a smooth sail.

I sent mine on Wednesday, it got there on Friday the 7th and I just received my NOA1 text/email today! Woohoo! Good luck, you should be getting your NOA1 soon if you haven't already.

I'm living in Chicago now and I am planning to visit my fiancé in Wales in March as opposed to him coming here. We thought it would be a safer bet, and I don't anticipate any trouble going over there for ten days. I think as long as he would bring proof that he will be going back, it would be okay!

We filled ours out on Monday and sent it--looks to be getting in this Friday, Feb 7th. I'm already worried I made mistakes....but here's to a smooth ride, people! Good luck to you and your abroad loved ones smile.png <3

PS Anyone else getting ready for a visit from your fiance to the US? Any word on clearing customs/entry problems as I-129F filers--particularly in Chicago? The forums here all say it's fine, if a little intense sometimes, but I was just wondering smile.png

I got the same email! I would definitely say it is good news. The process has really begun now! Someone replied to my thread about it and said the California Service Center was one of the faster ones. Let's hope they are right!!!

Congratulations! Now to start the dreaded NOA2 wait!

Hey! I was wondering--when you had your I-129F returned to you, had they sent you a text/email notice first even if you didn't get the NOA1? I just wonder because I am expecting to get it returned because, as you know, I have to get the original signature of my fiance for the G-325A and the letter of intent...but I was wondering if they notified you. My package arrived in Texas on Friday, Feb 7th, and I've heard nothing yet from them for the NOA1 or a return....I was curious if I would know until I got the package back.... Thanks :)

Unfortunately they didn't notify me, it just arrived back 10 days later! (6 days to process and send back and 4 days in the postal service) It was a pretty fast turn around luckily!

Apparently lots of people have filed scanned signatures on that form and it's been perfectly fine! Just my luck that I'm the one to get the whole packet returned :')

16 January 2014: I-129F Application sent!

10th February 2014: NOA1 Hardcopy received

NOA2: (File accidentally sent to NVC without approval, NOA2 actually received 5th May 2014)

12th March 2014: File sent to NVC (without approval)
