Got my noa1 text message the 28th. Alien number changed march 5. Im at TSC. Vj estimate tells me expect noa2 april 5-28. I am prepared for 5 months but could this estimate be anywhere close to accurate? I see they have about 75% of nov done and almost 50% of dec, so I am hoping to be a lucky one and get a quick turnaround like all the other hopefuls.

The estimates are a mash up of the data from both service centers, to be completely honest that estimate is consistent with someone filing at CSC. TSC are taking a lot longer. No one can really tell you how long it'll take some filers wait 3-5 months others wait 12 days!

I know I shouldn't expect NOA2 anytime soon(NOA1 date: Feb 10), but I can't help but get anxious to get it within March!

Looking at last month's trend, by the end of February, almost all of January petitions, as per the people on VJ.com, were approved. Hopefully it holds the same for us Feb filers. :)

Looks like the fast pace they set is slowing a little, from VJ stats my expected date was between 5-9 of march it's now been pushed back a little! Not that I'm worried or bothered, as l get my visa someday it's all good! :)

Mine was set to March 17 - 24 initially and after seesawing from as early as March 10 - 17 to what it is now, March 13 - 20, I agree that the fast pace set before is coming to the decline now. :(

The level of anxiety hasn't declined a bit though. Fiancé keeps trying to calm me down but to no avail. hehehe..

Doing what I can to be patient. I even started strategically timing my case status checking to just once a day in the morning (end of the day for USCIS at that time). That's how tamed I've become from what was before [read: 2 million times a day]. :P hehehe

But yea, in the end, as long as we get to be with our loved ones, that's good enough. :)

just this morning, my expected approval was between March 10th-13th. Now it's the 11th-18th. :( Have I mentioned here yet that patience is NOT my thing? ClockWatch2.gif

I havent looked at it anymore. It keeps changing, and makes the wait worse. I am just entertaining myself trying not to think about it. Though I am hoping the approval come through while I am on my trip to see him. It would be nice to get the new together, but wont get my hopes up.

I just saw that two couples with NOA1s of February 26 got approved yesterday. They might be the only February filers with approvals though.

I'm just hoping all of us get our approvals sometime in the near future haha :)

Some Philippines filers are getting fast tracked so that'll be the reason for the fast approval!

I don't know if I'm the only one but I Sometimes wonder about the accuracy of people's timelines? I remember one couple that have gotten their noa2 within a short time have actually just been confused with that and their noa1 hardcopy. A large majority of people also confuse the filing center with the lockbox and fill in the transfered case section when the case hasn't been transfered! If a user doesn't look to be active within the website, I've just come to assume the timeline may not be up to date or may be incorrect :(

I agree. I've put the timeline out of my head. We are in Texas. I'm basing it on previous posters to the same country we are filing for which seems to be one if the contributing factors to the delay.

My hopeful date for our Noa2 is midMay. Realistically we should expect midJuly before I start crying. Big fat ugly tears. I've been able to get into a good groove here of putting it aside but mostly because ill be seeing him as the baby and I are headed there next week. Ill plan our next trip as soon as I get back and that will help as that's what I usually do to handle the distance.

This is definitely one of the hardest things ever but it really does make one so sure tgat they live this person cuz WOW! Who would endure this torture. We are in limbo. It's pretty tragic but I'm looking for wedding dresses and locations. So all this is fun but its crazy not knowing the WHEN of the whole thing .

I noticed the same thing and try not to read too much into the timelines. They're really good for just getting a general idea of what the processing times are though :)

We have filed for a K1 before (in 2010, but we ended it after Packet 3 arrived for military reasons). Back then, NOA2s used to take about 5 months. So I'm definitely happy about the shorter processing times nowadays :)
