Ohhh congratulations!!! The wait is finally over!!

Had my interview today and its approved wohooo!!

Had my medical done in Dortmund two weeks ago and somehow my results weren't

at the embassy yet but they told me my visa is being send out as soon as they have

my results. Finally after 10 months of waiting!!

We are in the same boat and it's got me thinking, I gotta be outta my damn mind!! Haha we fought so hard to get him here and now we're already planning on moving overseas - which I believe is gonna be a whole nother beast! Oh well.. His work approval came through but he hasn't been able to find anything so that's keeping us busy for now.

For the most part, I agree with this, but we're looking at getting him citizenship, then possibly relocating back to Europe. The longer the green card takes, the longer citizenship takes. At the same time, he's here, he's working, and we're happy. So no worries, USCIS, we'll wait. ;)

Where are you looking to relocate to? I agree about moving mid-process. I wouldn't want to do it!

Andre had his Biometrics yesterday and he went alone and everything was fine. Also, we just found out we are pregnant! We are so excited! :) I hope everyone is doing well!

i called up and she said nothing has been mailed out yet..

so i keep waiting for a mystery letter with my interview date..

Still nothing yet..I sent in the e-request for missing notice and it sent me an automated reply that I should get a letter by Jan 12.. but no update on the actual USCIS website. I might call tomorrow though and see if anything has actually even been sent out yet..

Hey guys, quick question. I know a few of you mentioned that you don't think you'll get an interview for green card.. How did you figure that out? Our case currently says "Fingerprint fee was accepted.. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case." The last things we received were the biometrics appointment and Rich's work authorization. Neither of which said anything about having an interview or not, unless I am missing something? Hopefully you can help! Thanks.

Johan's says the same as Rich's. Johan's 10 year old son got a waiver letter. That's all we have to go by, so truthfully, we really don't know if Johan's is also waived or is Shaun got that because he's 10. And NO ONE will answer my questions about it in the AOS forum!! Did he get one because of his age or did Johan's letter just not get sent? I loathe this process.

We had our congressman do an inquiry... that was what got replied to her; that we were eligible for the interview waiver which is taking 9-12 months...

I am with Tina and this whole process is THE WORST. I am trying to not look on the site as often so as to not think about how they f&%@ good ppl over.

Matt at least has his EAD and just got a job offer today, so that is something. Anyway, happy new year. :)

K-1 Visa -  Date of arrival to US  Aug 30, 2014

Married September 26, 2014

AOS: SEPT 24th, 2015 GREEN CARD RECEIVED !! 

ROC:  Oct 10, 2018    Approval of ROC via online USCIS site.  

Naturalization: March 26th, 2021 Approved!!

As of 2022, we are working towards moving back to Australia likely in 2025.

I totally agree with you guys.. My online status says since November that I was ready to be scheduled for an interview and that I should receive a letter by Dec 26. Nothing happened so I did an e-request that has not been answered yet..

So..waiting..waiting..waiting

Hahaha oh what a pain..received a letter from USCIS today answering to my e-request: I should expect to be scheduled for an interview in THREE TO FOUR MONTH from this letter.. Well thanks for the info USCIS!
