Hi everyone!

My husband has his biometrics tomorrow and I have to work. Is it okay if he goes without me or do I need to be there?

Thank you!

He can go alone. the appointment is his only, since he's the one adjusting status. Funny, it requires YOUR HELP to get his green card, but you can't even call USCIS and discuss his case with them. It's an easy appointment, from what I understand. Johan and his son went without me, and they were in and out in less than 45 min. :)

Johan's is still saying that the fingerprint fee has been accepted. His son's shows a "validation error." About 3 weeks ago, we got a "potential interview waiver" letter for our K2, but nothing on Johan. So, as of now, we're assuming that Johan's situation is the same. We don't expect them to have their green cards until at least May of 2015. Which blows.

yeah in the end it doesnt matter if it takes longer. I´m vey happy taht I have my EAD now and I´m not complaining.

we will possibly be moving to a different state end of january..so it would be kinda cool to have an interview before that, cause adresschanges in the middle of the process kinda scare me...you never know with USCIS right :)

For the most part, I agree with this, but we're looking at getting him citizenship, then possibly relocating back to Europe. The longer the green card takes, the longer citizenship takes. At the same time, he's here, he's working, and we're happy. So no worries, USCIS, we'll wait. ;)

Where are you looking to relocate to? I agree about moving mid-process. I wouldn't want to do it!

Ah I see..that's of course true with the citizenship. Well for a change it would be great to just get it over with this horrible paperwork. So the sooner the citizenship the better :) so I just wish everyone here good luck for a faaaaaast process!!

We are working for the same employer and they are thinking of sending us to Texas to run operations for them there..going to be interesting. Smaaaalll town in Texas..see if me the big city girl can handle it :)

It's planned for end of January..
