Your income definitely meets the requirements.

Stephan and I did not have a bank letter or bank statements. Our co-sponsor did not either. I really have no idea why they are asking you for that. I would just send in your bank letter, and anything else you think would round out your financial picture. I can't imagine how frustrating this is for you. Boo Montreal!

.

We are sending the bank letter and 12 months worth of statements. I was tempted to try to find a cosponsor and send in their info also, but I really don't want to do that, especially since I make enough. Andre thinks I am thinking too much into it and all they need is this info to "cover their butts" and everything will be fine, but I am the worrier. I just don't know what they want. To me, this is coming out of left field.

I wish they looked at the whole picture. Andre has several thousand dollars saved that he is bringing over with him that will be used for AOS and extra savings until he is allowed to work. Come on Montreal, he will not be a public burden, I promise :D

For those who have tied the knot already.. When you went to apply for the marriage license, did you have to bring any of your visa information? Or just birth certificate and passport/form of ID?

I just filled out our marriage license application online (here in Ca, you can do that within 10 business days of your wedding), and they have you put the name you want to go by after marriage, plus parents names and birthplace. They also wanted dates of previous divorces, and current address. All they want us to bring is ID for age and identification purposes. No visa info required at all. I put Johan's address as my own, since he'll be living here then, clearly. 5 days to go before he arrives!! Woot!!

Just wanted to say Good Luck to Curitiba2014 tomorrow!

Also, I'm going to go ahead and say Good Luck to techmedic and aruadha! I may be a little MIA for the next couple of weeks. I love all of you guys and I am so happy for you, but I need to distance myself a bit and try not to think about anything Immigration related. I am driving myself crazy. Hopefully I return with good news to share! No matter the outcome, we will still be together and love always finds a way :)

What's everyone been up to lately? I have been anxiously awaiting Rich's arrival, he'll be surprising me sometime next week! He's really dreading flying, especially with the recent crashes. We have been looking at new apartments so that's exciting but also stressful!! Hoping to find something within our budget soon. It's hard to plan because we don't know what type of job he will have/how much he will be making. But it's all part of the journey!

Congrats to Curitiba2014!! And also good luck to Abby and Andre.. Really hoping you guys hear good news soon! You have done so great at staying positive, keep it up!!

Johan and his son arrived last night in Los Angeles! He said POE officer asked him a boatload of questions. Today is chill and unpacking. We went to the grocery store today. That was an experience! Haha. Monday is the big day! Hopefully filing AOS by Friday.

Curitiba, my guess is that your AP status was while they were processing your visa. It will likely say "issued" soon. Idk how the recent glitch in the system may stall things for you.

I'm feeling for Abby. I can't imagine the stress she and Andre are currently going through. (((((Hugs))))) Abby, if you're seeing this!!! And all our TSC family. I'm sending all the ++++++ vibes I can!

I wouldn't worry about that too much, especially because of the Visa issues they're having right now :) (http://www.nbcnews.com/business/travel/u-s-passport-visa-operations-gummed-glitch-n163751)

Right, so I received my NOA1 from the Texas service center on February 25th and STILL haven't received anything about an NOA2. I see some of you received your NOA2 months ago who received their NOA1 in February and I'm starting to get very worried/frustrated. Could this perhaps be because our petition is at the Texas Service Center? I see a lot of you guys had your petition at different service centers and am SOOOOO jealous. It's not looking like my fiance will be here for a long time yet. :(
