Rich just got to London, he almost missed his Megabus from Wales due to traffic!! But he's there and spending the night at his brother's and taking the tube to his interview tomorrow morning!! I already know I won't sleep well at all tonight!! I am so anxious!!!!! Keep us in your thoughts please :content:

The good news is that, with the time difference, he will likely be done before you would normally be waking up! with an 8 hour time difference, I made Johan call me when he was done in the embassy. That was 4 am! haha :D Good luck! It'll go great. :)

Good luck for the interview! It's all happening now huh! I got to work this morning and my visa was waiting there for me! We are both so excited....flights are booked for the 24th of July! ? good luck to all others in your interviews etc and thanks for the help and support I have received from you all! ?

Woohoo!!! that's only 36 days away. :)

Is 4-5 weeks their "Generic" answer when you call NVC? That's what they keep telling me

we got ours in 10 days. I called after a week and it wasn't there. I called a couple days later, and they had it. :) Keep on calling! :D

Yay!! Congrats!! Our CEAC finally changed to "Issued" today so we are booking Jake's flight tonight--hard to believe he will be in The US two weeks from this Saturday!

So this was something we both found a bit weird.. Rich didn't pay for his visa delivery online (I told him it was cheaper in person) and once they said he was approved, they told him his visa would be shipped within 5-7 days yadda yadda.. but they didn't have him go to another window to pay the fee. Once he was out and told me I told him to go back and check. They wouldn't let him in but the guard at the door said, "We are phasing out the fee, it’s a bit of grey area right now but if they didn’t mention it you shouldn’t have to pay. If you do end up having to pay, the courier people will let you know.” Did anyone else from London experience this or were they told to pay right after they were approved??

I hope Montreal stays "on the ball" like they have been lately so we can get our visa soon :D Luckily I have been so busy at work that I haven't even been thinking about it and I will continue to be really busy for awhile so it definitely helps keep my mind occupied. We're patient people. We don't mind waiting.....just not for too long :D

Andre received the papers I sent him today and will send them out either tomorrow or Monday. The good thing is that Loomis Express gets them there ASAP so at least it will all be in their hands very soon! I hope Montreal stays "on the ball" like they have been lately so we can get our visa soon :D Luckily I have been so busy at work that I haven't even been thinking about it and I will continue to be really busy for awhile so it definitely helps keep my mind occupied. We're patient people. We don't mind waiting.....just not for too long :D

Well Andre received my divorce decree in the mail yesterday and sent it to Montreal today with his passport. It will be there Monday. At least it is in their hands. Now we wait :D:clock:
