You didn't file to Texas Service Center... you filed your petition where all petitions are collected in Tx and are distributed to the Service Centers. Yours will be adjudicated in CSC (California Service Center) based on where you live. Just register in the USCIS website to receive an email and/or text from the service center.

16 January 2014: I-129F Application sent!

3rd February 2014: NOA1

10th February 2014: NOA1 Hardcopy received

NOA2: (File accidentally sent to NVC without approval, NOA2 actually received 5th May 2014)

12th March 2014: File sent to NVC (without approval)

26th March 2014: NVC Sent petition to London!

28th March 2014: Received in London

3rd April 2014: Packet 3

24th April 2014: Medical

27th May 2014: Interview!

4th June 2014: VISA ISSUED!

24th August 2014: POE

Greetings all!

I'm new to the forum and wish that I had found it before putting together my petition... There's a wealth of info, tips, and explanations here that are sorely missing on government websites dry.png. It's been quite the ride just to get to this point!

Well, we've just joined the wait list! Our petition arrived at the Lewisville dropbox Feb 20th.

Be patient my vj friends, you might be surprised how quickly it can go...

Our case status went to "initial review" on Feb. 5th, and on Feb 18th it was approved. 13 days! And for every case that gets a quick approval, that's one more person that's free to work on the next case (which could very well be yours)!

We were absolutely fu*king floored!

Hang in there everyone, yours could be next!

04/06/2018 - 10 year GC in hand (With incorrect 'Resident Since' date - Filed SR online 'Typographical Error' with USCIS)

04/19/2018 - Email received from USCIS instructing me to return my GC for expedited correction - Mailed out today

How do they decide which cases go to California and which go to Vermont? Is it a geographical thing?

With all the quick California approvals, I'll be so pumped if it goes there. :D

September 24, 2014: RFE response recieved

September 24, 2014: Biometrics taken At Detroit, MI

September 25, 2014: Status changed to "Request For Evidence Response Review"

October 9, 2014: I 485 changed to "Testing and Interview"

October 9, 2014: EAD changed to "Card/Document Production"

October 9, 2014: AP changed to "Post Decision Activity"

October 18, 2014: EAD and AP arrive in the mail!

October 23, 2014: Got a Job! - My very first American job! Yay!

January 14, 2015: AOS interview
