I-130 & Relationship Proof Affidavit

Is there any specific Affidavit I can use to help prove the relationship. No kids, shared lease or bank so I must use the Affidavit.

The question is, do I just make up my own and print it out and have it notorized.. or is there some special Affadavit I must use?

And what could be considered other relevant documentation?

5) Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship (Each affidavit must contain the full name and address, date and place of birth of the person making the affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner of beneficiary, if any, and complete information and details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge of your marriage); or

6) Any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing marital union."

a marriage certificate would be the most important thing to submit if it is based on marriage that you are filing

i think you have to create your own. that's a new addendum to the paperwork i think. i made my own. i used the general format from the affidavit of support used for another form, if you look under example forms. if you want to see mine, send me a message and let me know. good luck!

Here is a Draft I am working with. Hope this helps

AFFADAVIT OF BONA FIDES MARITAL RELATIONSHIP

I, ..............., born [DATE OF BIRTH] in [PLACE OF BIRTH], currently residing at [sTREET ADDRESS], in [sTATE] MAKE OATH AND SAY THAT:

I know Mr and Mrs.................... for last ………..years. I met them for the first time on their ..........(any function).

I have attended many social and family functions with the couple including lunch/dinners. I am also aware of their kids and their families. Till date, I have maintained a close relationship with the couple.

Throughout the time I know them, they have maintained a genuine martial relationship.

A copy of picture is attached to my affidavit at any function.
