Hi everyone,

I used to be a green card holder. I started living abroad and on a visit back to the US 7 years ago I had to abandon my green card and fill out an i-407 form at the San Francisco airport customs offices.

Now that 7 years have passed, I am asked by my work to transfer to the US for a couple of years on a L1-visa.

As I looked around on the internet, it seems that all I needed to do was to restart the process entirely, which I did.

Today I went to the US Embassy in Paris to apply for the visa with all the paperwork of a new applicant, thinking I had all the paperwork, but I was required to provide a copy of the I-407 form I had filled years ago in addition to the rest.

Unfortunately I have lost that paper and am not able to provide it myself. Is there any way I can request a copy of it somewhere?

Please advise.

Thanks!!
