I had my children's US passport photo's taken. The photo place ended up stamping the back of both pictures with their company name, date and a garantor signature space. Will the US embassy accept these, seeing that there is no room for or anything else on the back (in case the embassy wants to put the children's names on the back. I would have thought the photo place would have left one blank. Should I go back and have these redone, leaving one of the backsides blank. Hate to get down to the embassy and be rejected for that. thanks.

My husband had the stamp on them too and it wasn't a big deal. Did you make sure the photos were 2'x2' "American Size" and not Canadian sized?

They will be accepted, I didnt have a problem writing my infomation on the back- my passport picture had a stamp on the back too (In my experience, Canada has stricter rules for passport pictures, which is why there is a stamp on the back). As long as the picture is '2x2 American size' you will be okay. I know it's a stressful time, but try not to sweat the small stuff :).

Thank you, sometimes we just need someone who has been there to give us confirmation.

Thank you, funny how the small stuff can cause such a domino effect if "immigration" looks at it as a flaw...appreciate the confirmation...yes, it is a 2x2.

the small stuff will drive you absolutely insane!

After our I-130 was approved, I was going through documents for the NVC stage, I noticed that the copy of the I-130 I kept for myself was the one that was mailed. I still had the original signed copy. So ya, they're diligent, but I guess not as much as we think they are!
