Hello VJers, I am getting my packet ready to send for ROC. My GC expires on 04/19/14. I have the following:

1) Copy of my greencard

2) Tax returns from 2011 and 2012 (we filed married, separately in 2011 due to me being an intl student and not being sure what to do and married, jointly in 2012)

3) Copy of lease and letter from landlord confirming we have resided at same apt since 2011 (as lease is continuous)

4) Birth certificate of our daughter

5) Life insurance statement with spouse as beneficiary

6) 401K with spouse as beneficiary

7) Joint car insurance statements

8) Travel itineraries from trips taken together, including to my home country

9) Pictures from 2011, 2012, 2013 of us as a family and with family members from both sides

10) Copies of shared Costco membership cards

11) Mail showing shared address

Does this look like enough? Also, we are one of those couples who do not have a joint account. My husband pays the bills and I sometimes transfer money to him if he ever needs it. His name is also on all of our utility bills. Should I still include quarterly bank statements from both our accounts to show the shared address and transfers? Also, should I indicate that we do not have a joint account on the cover letter?

Please let me know your thoughts.

While a joint account is important, if you do not have it include copies of the separate ones (showing the transfers between the two) AND include an explanation in your cover letter. I would include monthly versus quarterly statements since you don't have anything that really shows the co-mingling of funds. Good luck!
