This seems like you're saying there's not a single Hispanic or black kid that is upper class; a kid whose parents have been successful and are able to give their kids the best in life. I know numerous Hispanic and black families whose kids are very privileged.

Yes there are some, but not many. And just because you are in the privileged circle does not mean you are accepted. Once my mom gained money she tried to buy a house in a particular area of Memphis and she was told that no one would sell to her. They even took their for sale signs down and took them off of the market.

I would accept it, if it was entirely true. And I am talking about what happened in the past, not the present. Sorry you do not understand my line of defense, but people still do not understand the devastation that many country's and races of people are trying to overcome. And I do not like people who feel that there are no affects left from colonialism because this is simply not true.

My comment was not to offend anybody and it was strictly to make a point about what effects racism, colonialism and the diffusive ideas of slavery left on people.

So we have to beg to let our kids into white schools because the cities will not waste their time to try to educate students in predominantly black and Hispanic schools, therefore perpetuating the cycle.

Where you diverge is when you think we mean all or even most. The rates are much higher among the black community for a host of different reasons, including many hundreds of years of oppression.
