A little confused on this.

The guide says we don't need a new medical examination as long as it's been within a year since she had her overseas examination. We don't have any sort of paperwork from her medical exam, because they sent the results straight to the embassy.

Does the I-693 have to be submitted in our case? All we'd be able to fill out if her name and info at the top.

A civil surgeon fills out an I-693 and signs off on the immunization portion if you didn't have all your shots recorded on the Knightsbridge immunization form. Your medical files were in the packet you turned in at POE. They get matched up with your AOS file (hopefully) so USCIS will see your medical info.

Ok great thanks.

On the off chance she's missing a shot or something, will that delay EAD processing?

She should already know if something was missing because Knightsbridge would have told her. Does she have the copy of the DS-3025 vaccination sheet from Knightsbridge?

I'm going to have her look again, but she apparently does not at the moment. Our main focus right now is getting the EAD though, so on the chance she does need to go see a CS, would that delay the EAD, or would just send is a RFE for the AoS?

Ok so we found the 3025. The only thing she's missing is a Tetanus booster. We can get that at any corner drug store. Would they issue an RFE for that requiring a civil surgeon?

Yes, you will need to get the Tetanus booster for her, get the vaccine register updated and then have a civil surgeon transcribe that onto the I693, she doesn't need a full medical so it should be quick & cheap, just call ahead to some civil surgeons to find one that knows what they are doing and won't try to scam you.

So it has to be through a civil surgeon? We can't have it documented by a pharmacist or something?

Just asking because the nearest civil surgeon is 30 miles away which is a giant pain in the ###.

Yes, has to be a civil surgeon, she should have had the tetanus booster before the K1 medical and then she wouldn't need an I693.

That would have been ideal, but apparently in England they don't do the boosters, you only ever get one.

Maybe the GP she went to was bad, but she was told they couldn't do it. She was also originally from Australia so didn't get all the childhood ones they give listed on there.
