Sorry I haven't been around much to contribute to the fireworks around these parts

I've been on vacation since December 16th, and now Mahmoud is off too, so we've been keeping ourselves pretty busy. We celebrated our 2nd anniversary in fine style -- had dinner at a very nice Persian restaurant, and Mahmoud gave me a beautiful gold and diamond necklace with a heart-shaped pendant -- that man is sooooo sweet (L). We've been visiting friends and family, going to see movies, doing a lot of shopping, home projects, all sorts of stuff.

I have to go back to work next week *Dreading the mountain that I will find awaiting me on my desk*

Miss y'all (well MOST of y'all )... but looks like you're doing just fine holding down the ME/NA fort !

New project. Travel to OHIO then the next big burg over from Dallas (whoopee, one and 1/2 hour commute each way in the worst rush hour traffic of NTx).

Car still stuck in OKLA. Can't sleep worth a darn . . . even with ambien. At least the huge hematomas I have in my right side/chest from the seatbelt appear to be getting smaller. . . but I never knew that a bruise could slowly migrate south on the body . . . aint gravity wonderful.

I have plenty of drama in my life without coming on-line for more.

ummmm, he has been stuck awhile . . . won't get into the long story here because I don't want to burden anyone with my problems. Not sure anyone cares anyway, so why should I upset myself by talking about it . . . . gotta keep busy!!!

Oh, anyone chat with Noura? Tell her I saw more tattoos and interesting body piercings imaginable (at least for me, hehe) this past weekend (3 days really) . . . it was a tribal fusion dance workshop . . . she'll know what I am talking about.

I really must get out more into the alternative world!

Sorry, MK, I shouldn't generalise because I do know you care. And Sarah must care too if she bothers to ask about it . . . or else, curiosity is killing her . Just nothing exciting going on here but more waiting. I was totally bummed when I found out that nothing would change over XMAS and I couldn't get on a flight to Cairo without paying out big bucks (which I don't have) . . . THEN I just had to have a car accident on the way back from visiting my family in Arkansas . . .where I had to endure the evil eye of my mother as she said "he won't be here next year either", while refusing to speak with him on the phone. . . OLD ppl, what do you do with them???.

Meanwhile, I board a flight tonight for Columbus, Ohio . . . going to Dublin really . . . but just till Thursday night. So I am doing a quick turnaround here today after having been at a dance workshop since Thurday!

Wahoo! My life is soooooooooooooo exciting!

But no Bepsi for me . . . diet or otherwise . . . and the doctor told the hubster to quit drinking it too! Soda is so bad for the stomache and all the worrying appears to have caused an ulcer on his part! Poor guy! Poor me!
