Eid is Saturday in Egypt from what I've been told by my honey.

As far as I know it should follow whatever KSA does, since that's where hajj is.

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

The website says it's Dec 31 but the news just said that for Sunni Muslim's it's tomorrow, and that is why they are in a hurry to take care of Hussein. So...I guess it depends.

Saudi Arabia announced the beginning of Dhul-Hijjah 1, 1427 to be on December 21, 2006. As such the day of Arafat Dhul-Hijjah 9, 1427 will be on December 29, 2006.

The announcement was surprising to many because it contradicted the Umm Al Qura Calendar and verdicts of Astronomers from within Saudi Arabia and outside.

In the spirit of solidarity with the pilgrims many communities around the world will be fasting on Friday, December 29, 2006.

Eid Al Adha will be celebrated on Saturday, December 30th or Sunday, December 31, 2006 based on the preferences of local communities.

Community leaders in North America are encouraging all people to respect difference of opinion in observing the day of Eid Al Adha of various groups.
