Hey guys, I just want to ask you all about documents to bring on the interview for AOS. Do I need to provide my US Citizen husband's divorce certificate on the application packet and on the interview? Do I still need to provide pay stubs if I have letter of employment and tax returns? Thank you!

You do need to show proof of marriage and proof of termination of any prior marriages for either spouse; for most people this will be a copy of the marriage certificate(s) and the divorce certificate(s).

I do not believe you need to provide pay stubs if you are enclosing a letter of employment and tax returns.

You send copies, hold the original for interview unless they request it at NVC

I would encourage you to bring copies of everything you submitted for the K-1 visa and for the interview. Like another poster stated you only need copies. However, you could be asked to provide original documentaion.

This is for an AOS from a K-1 interview Nothing is sent to the NVC when filing for AOS.

OP> The interview letters are a general blanket format. It states to bring certain things, unless already submitted. If you already provided certain documents when you filed, then no need to repeat them. Bring your proof of co-mingling(joint accounts and co-habitation) and the originals of the most important documents(such as birth and marriage certificates) in case they happen to ask to see the originals.
